- not a clothing brand, not streetwear
Launched in 2020 | Made in London, England
The UNCOMMON Pupil was originally created in 2016 as a book by UNCOMMON Danny to document the style of young creatives. The selected individuals, who were unique and upcoming in their field, were documented through photography and interviews. Also featuring fashion editorials, the book used clothing as a form of promotion. The garments eventually grew and turned into the main aspect of The UNCOMMON Pupil.
The UNCOMMON Pupil prints original photography and graphics in its designs, often using hand painted finishes on reworked military and workwear pieces, turning them into ready to wear garments. Pieces are finished with the signature blue “TUP” label, that is hand sewn on by the creator.
